The Room.

Located in the unique neighborhood of Vancouver’s Downtown East Side, minutes drive from historic Gastown and walking distance to Commercial drive. Rain City Recorders provides a space for the everyman. All who enter are treated with the same respect whether it’s a hobby project or a serious work of art. Our room is 15x18x21, and hosts two full size isolation booths, headphone stations for up to 10 people, and a full lounge with kitchen, fold out bed, and shower.

The Gear.

At the center of our studio is a 90s Neve Legend VR 48 Channel Large Format Console.

We run the most current version of Protools Ultimate and Avid converters.

We have a wide selection of compressors, equalizers, outboard preamps, outboard effects, vintage and modern microphones, guitar and bass amplifiers, several vintage drum kits, and over 30 pedals. All available with your rental.
